Zelma M. Phillips

Funeral Services for Zelma M. Phillips, 87, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10 AM Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Danny McIlveene officiating. Interment will follow Coax Baptist Church Cemetery, Winnsboro, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Phillips was born on October 22, 1930 and passed away on November 6, 2017 after a brief illness. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. Mrs. Phillips worked for Binswagner Glass where she was a secretary. She is preceded in death by her husband Leon Phillips and parents John and Ethel McNair.

Survivors include her sons Jeff Phillips (Kerri), Jay Phillips (Tammy); grandchildren Courtney Phillips, John Ross; great grandchildren John Tucker Ross, Mallory Rose Ross and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives that she loved very much.

Pallbearers will be John Ross, Bart Newman, Stan Newman, Bobby Roark, Colby Fitch, Brent Hardy and Jeff Battaglia.

Memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
