Memorial services for Mrs. Zelma Leota Kinser, 60, of Monroe, LA, will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 30, 2019, at the Rowland Road Baptist Church, Monroe, Rev. Norman Bryant and Rev. John Yates officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville.
Mrs. Kinser was born July 1, 1959, and passed away on November 18, 2019. She served in the United States Marine Corps. She attended Rowland Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Kinser enjoyed playing pool, watching Disney movies, collecting rocks, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ira “Shorty” Kinser; sister, Sue Decker; brothers, Joe Kinser, and Jeremy Kinser.
Survivors include her mother, Wanda Kinser; daughter, Summer Shows; four grandchildren, Adriana, Andrew, Ayden, Aeric; sister, Inez Carroll (Danny); nieces, Crystal Hejduk; Carolyn Ringgard, Evelyn Wells; nephews, Jason Decker, Daniel Decker, Zack Billbe, Ira Kinser; great nieces, Lacy Adams, Brittney Pippens, Shelby Wells; great-nephews, Hunter Beckley, Cannon Scudder, Dillon Scudder, and Cody Ringgard; great-great-nieces and nephews, Carson Beckley, Malyssa Pippens and Lillian Allen; and special friends, Mark Seaux and Sandra Haley.
