Funeral Services for Mr. Winston “Sonny” Foreman, 96, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 18, 2017, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Foreman was born August 27, 1921, and passed away November 15, 2017. He was a member of Fair Park Baptist Church. Mr. Foreman was a veteran of the United States Army, Navy and Air Force, and also, a veteran of the Canadian Air Force. He served during WWII and also, the Korean War. Mr. Foreman enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and attending West Monroe High School sporting events. He worked for BellSouth Telephone Company where he retired after 37 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Sawyer Foreman.
Survivors include his daughter, ReNia Harbour Foreman; son, Steven Foreman and wife Gail; four grandchildren, Amanda Bruchhaus and husband Dr. John Bruchhaus, Bryan Foreman, Stephanie Bearden and Ben Harbour; five great grandchildren, Graham Bruchhaus, Kate Bruchhaus, Tailen Bearden, Davynee Bearden and Ava Hildebrand; brother, P.L. “Buddy” Foreman and wife Winona; stepsister, Ann Corley; and special niece and nephew, Martha Guillotte and Dennis Foreman.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bailey, Ray Osbon, Heath Osbon, Bryn Meredith and Matthew Colvin.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Friday, November 17, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
