Winnie Mae Harrell

Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie Mae Harrell, 84, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Lakeshore Baptist Church, with Rev. William Smith and Jim Partin officiating. Interment will follow at Old Pine Hill Cemetery, Sicily Island, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Harrell was born December 11, 1935, in Little Springs, MS and passed away December 15, 2019, in Monroe, LA. She was a longtime member of Lakeshore Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and working with her plants and flowers. Winnie loved spending time with her grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and helping others. She enjoyed traveling and getting seeds from various places and Mississippi dirt for her gardening.

Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Lillian McGehee Jones; sisters, Patsy Lou Jones Verucci, Peggy Gene Jones Partin, and Laura Louise Jones Calcote.

Survivors include husband of 67 years, Dozier Hansford Harrell; son, Larry Harrell (Sandy); daughter, Sharon Harrell; granddaughter, Laura Warrington (Justin); grandson, Justin Harrell (Megan); granddaughter, Kaitlyn Britt (David); sisters, Jane Ables (Tony), Ann Clark (Donny), Ruth Jacobs (Noel), and Joyce Bowman (Jimmy); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

Pallbearers will be Andy Anders, James Cooper, Donnie Faith, Charles Harrell, John Latour, David Britt, Mike McGehee, and Justin Warrington. Honorary pallbearers will be Lakeshore Baptist Church Deacons, Brandon Harrell, Justin Harrell, Dylan, Davieon, and Javieon Cooper.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, and again from 9:00 AM until service time Wednesday at the church.
