Wilma Sue Tolbird
December 29, 1944 — June 25, 2020
Graveside Services for Mrs. Wilma Sue Tolbird, 75, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 29, 2020, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery Pavilion in West Monroe with Rev. Ricky Baker officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Wilma Sue Tolbird, 75, of West Monroe, passed peacefully from this life into the arms of her Heavenly Father on June 25, 2020.
Sue had an enormous love for history and antiques which prompted Two Friends Primitives & Antiques, a booth she shared with longtime friend, Ann Dexter, inside Martha’s Unfinished Furniture.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Doyle W. Tolbird; son, Jamie Tolbird; daughter, Amy Armstrong and husband James; grandson, Jimmy Logan Tolbird; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Winnifred and Nola Perkins; sister, Peggy Louise King; and nephew, William King, Jr.
The family would like to say a special Thank You to Natalie Ward, Joyce Bradford, and the rest of the staff at Louisiana Hospice Care, along with Linda Deville and Aimee Fuller North. Each of you became additional family members from the relentless love and care you gave Sue, and that love will forever be etched on their hearts.
