Services for Wilma Harris, 99 will be 12:00PM Monday, July 16, 2018 at the First Baptist Church Winnsboro with Dr. Max Lee and Dr. Clarence Young officiating. Burial will follow in the New Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Wilma was born on June 6, 1919 in Mangham, LA and passed away July 6, 2018 in Murfreesboro, TN. She worked at the Winnsboro State Bank for twelve years. She was a member of First Baptist Church Winnsboro, where she was a church secretary for 30 years. She loved reading her Bible, sewing, painting, cooking, and visiting with family and friends. She was a proud mother and loved her granddaughters and all of her family. friends."
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Martin Harris; her parents, Neal and Ella Buie Thames; sisters, Mavis Mangum, Ruth Rountree, and Loreece Reagan; brothers, Ray Thames and Thomas Thames; and granddaughter, Ellen Marie Dent.
She is survived by a daughter, Jerrie Dent and husband John of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren are Laura Lammons and husband Kevin of Murfreeboro, TN and Amy Dent of Murfreesboro TN; two great grandsons, Liam and Aiden of Murfreesboro, TN; and sister, Doris Evans of Baton Rouge, LA.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Visitation will be 10:00AM until 12:00PM Monday, July 16, 2018 at the church.
