Funeral services for Wilma Billie Montgomery, 88, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.Mrs. Montgomery died Friday, May 8, 2015, at Ridgecrest Nursing Home. She was a member of College Place Baptist church for over 40 years. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and caring friend.Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Bingaman; her brother, Wilfred Bingaman; three sisters, Bonnie Fordham, Jackie McBroom, Jean Craft; and her husband, Thomas D. “Tommy” Montgomery.Survivors include two children, Larry Thomas Montgomery of Palmer, AK, and James Randall and wife Barbara of Gainesville, VA; five grandchildren, Renee Montgomery, Jody Runkle, Thomas Montgomery, Jason Montgomery, Ryan Montgomery; and eleven great grandchildren.
