Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Mae Irby Painich, 85, of West Monroe, La. will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday May 29, 2007 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, La. with Rev. Mark Fenn officiating. Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, La.

Mrs. Painich was born August 11, 1921, and died May 27, 2007 at the Landmark Nursing Home.

Mrs. Painich was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Monroe, La., where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years. She traveled throughout the state doing children’s ministries for the church. She was Worthy Grand Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Annie D. Bennett Chapter and traveled the country representing Louisiana and received numerous honorary awards from different states.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Painich, her daughter, John Ann Anderson, two brothers, Malville Irby and T. J. “Pee Wee” Irby and sister, Bertille Prager.


Survivors: son-in-law, Pat Anderson; Granddaughter, Jackie Guillot and husband, Ricky  Grandsons, Patrick Anderson, Jr. and Baron Anderson and wife, Kim; Great Grandsons, Patrick Anderson, III, Rick Guillot, Jordan Guillot and Ryan Anderson; Great Granddaughters, Keelie and Kenzie Anderson; two sisters, Vera Painich and husband, Willie and Juanita Cooper.

Pallbearers will be Pat Anderson, Jr., Baron Anderson, Patrick Anderson, II, Rick Guillot, Jordan Guillot and Ryan Anderson.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
