Memorial services for William Leon “Butch” Colvin, 62, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating.
Mr. Colvin was born June 16, 1955, in Garfield, CA, and passed away on January 6, 2018, in Monroe, LA.
Mr. Colvin was preceded in death by his father, Leon Buck Colvin; and sister, NeAlta Smith.
Survivors include his mother, Mona Shelton Colvin; daughter, Heather Lane and husband Lee of Rayville, LA; brother, Mike Colvin and wife Debbie of West Monroe, LA; sister, Sharon Johnston of West Monroe, LA; granddaughters, Mackenzie Colvin and Aimee Lane; grandson, Lee Lane II all of Rayville, LA; special adopted daughter, Donnie Young of Monroe, LA; former wife and friend, Ann Cox of West Monroe, LA.
Visitation will be 2:00 PM until service time, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Linda Dickson for the care and love given to Mr. Colvin.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
