Funeral service for William LaVell Huckabee, who departed this earth on March 24, 2014, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, March 27, 2014, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. with Pastor Paul Solice officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
We celebrate the life of LaVell because we know he is in a better place. He leaves a legacy for his children to follow strength in adversity, honor your word, care and love for your children, and always tell the truth and work hard.
LaVell was preceded in death by his parents, N.L. and Lucy Huckabee. Survivors include his sister, Yvonne Hegwood; brother, Jerry D. Huckabee; sons, David Huckabee of Oak Point, TX; Terry Huckabee and Jay Huckabee both of Monroe, LA; sixteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Huckabee, Terry Huckabee, Jay Huckabee, David Huckabee, Jr., Dustin Huckabee, Aaron Huckabee, Jared Huckabee, and Dalin Huckabee.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
