Funeral service for William “Bill” John Cox, 56, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, August 28, 2011, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Red Belton and Rev. Chris Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cox was born on November 27, 1954 and passed away on August 24, 2011. He was a service technician with Coca Cola Bottling Company. Mr. Cox loved outdoor activities, riding his Harley, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Cox; daughters, Brandi Miller and husband Patrick, Barbie Cox and husband Eddie Reynolds, Lana Sue Cox, Ashley Dowdy, and Tabitha Powell and husband Damion; grandchildren, Eddie Reynolds, Jr., John Reynolds, Kaylie Powell, Cesley Powell, William Patrick Miller, and Paisley Powell; and brothers, James Cox, Jr. and wife Georgia, Bob Cox and wife Darlene, Philip Cox and late wife Karen, and Mike Cox and wife Susan.
Pallbearers will be Brian Smith, Johnny Cox, Mikey Cox, Jimmy Cox, Steven Lenard, Jeff Dowdy, Adam Breitenbach, and Damion Powell.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
