Funeral Services for William H. “Bill” Smith Jr., 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 22, 2016 at the White’s Ferry Road Church in West Monroe, LA with Paul Stephens, Mike Kellett and Alan Robertson officiating. Interment will be in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.Mr. Smith was born on February 14, 1932 in Norfolk, VA and passed away at his residence in West Monroe, LA with his family by his side on February 17, 2016. He was an elder and pastor at the WFR Church for 53 years. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Mary E. Smith; and son-in-law, Ken Bunn. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Margaret R. Smith; his daughters, Dawn Foor and husband Mark, Starla Bunn, Pamela Spencer and husband Ed, and Kimberly Stephens and husband Paul; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Josh Spencer, Zac Stephens, Jake Stephens, Jake Spencer, Craig Hammonds, Josh Patrick, Chris Brown, Benjamin Lawrence, Jase Robertson and Dr. Greg Sampognaro. Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the White’s Ferry Road Church in West Monroe, LA.
