Graveside Services for Mr. William E. Bennett, Jr., 88, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Lonnie Stewart officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Bennett was born in Ouachita Parish, LA, on June 30, 1925 and passed away at his residence on October 29, 2013. He was a self-employed Service Station owner. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving under General Patton in the 12th Armored Division 3rd Army liberating the Concentration Camps in Germany.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Holloway Bennett; daughter, Rebecca Rose Bennett Trichell; and grandson, James Aaron Trichell.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
