Randy Burdeaux officiating. Interment will follow in Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens Cemetery, West Monroe.Mr. Hemphill was born April 13, 1945 and passed away August 28, 2014. He was an avid fan of LSU football and West Monroe High School football and enjoyed working in his yard and making people laugh. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Dub is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Trulla Hemphill; and brothers, Edwin Smith, Ray Hemphill and Bobby Hemphill. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Hemphill; children, Daron Hemphill and wife, Christy and Ronda Price; grandchildren, Matthew Price, Caleb Hemphill and Caitlyn Hemphill; sisters, Linda Banks and Claudine McNair; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.Pallbearers will be Flint Smith, Chad Smith, Caleb Smith, Josh Tiab, Mitchell Lee and Johnny Hite.Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com
