William Carroll "Bill" Crawford, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. William Carroll “Bill” Crawford, Sr., 77, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 18, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until time of service on Friday, February 18, 2022.

Mr. Crawford was born August 5, 1944, in Columbia, LA and passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe, LA.

Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Thelma Crawford; brother, Johnnie Ray Crawford; and brother-in-law, Fay Thurman.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne “Suzie” Crawford; sons, William Carroll “Billy” Crawford, Jr. and Johnn Kevin Crawford (Kim); granddaughters, Katie Elizabeth Crawford and Sydney Crawford; step grandson, Tyler Taunton; and step great grandsons, Gavin Taunton and Grant Taunton.

Pallbearers will be William Smith, Stan Cox, Pipes Barham, Archie Evans, John Holloway, and Gary Holloway.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
