Services for William Allen Butler III, 73 of Winnsboro will be 2:00PM Monday, November 7, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Max Lee officiating. Burial will be in the New Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Winnsboro.
Allen was born on June 27, 1943 in Winnsboro and passed November 3, 2016 in Winnsboro.
He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting, talking to people, spending time with family and grandchildren, liked to tinker around, liked the newest gadgets, loved to entertain people, and would give you the shirt off his back.
He is preceded in death by his parents-William Allen Butler, Jr. and Marilyn Rose Hammett Butler and son-Michael Anthony Butler.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years-Judy Butler; son-William Allen Butler IV and wife Debbie of Humble, TX; daughters-Charlynn White of Baton Rouge and Kimberly Kramer and husband Blake of Winnsboro; seven grandchildren-Garrett, Matthew, Paul, Ellie Katherine, Joseph Michael Kramer, Taylor Baron, and Tommy Baron; two sisters-Sandra Jacka of Baton Rouge and Dee Butler of Vidalia, LA; a brother-Mike Tucker of Winnsboro; and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Atkins, William Hatton, Greg Hill, Richard Dickey, Arlie Walters, Danny Walters, Ronnie Bryant, and Jim Durr. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Tucker, Chet Trayor, Cecil Kaufman, Ross Cagle, and Randy Williford.
Visitation will be 5:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro.
