Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. William Adrian Bryant, 72, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 19, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Phillip Smith officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.
Mr. Bryant died March 16, 2018, at his residence after a brief illness.
Billy was retired from Entergy Inc. after 40 years of service, where he served in several substation supervisory positions over the years. He loved the outdoors, spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed volunteering with two of his favorite organizations, the National Wild Turkey Foundation and Ducks Unlimited. Billy served in the United States Army Reserve.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Webb Bryant; sisters, Ann Telano, Vicky Doerner, and Betty Williams; and his grandson, Jake Thomas Webb.
Survivors: his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Virginia Smith Bryant; daughters, Stephanie Paige Hendricks and Stacey Michelle Webb and son-in-law, Tom Webb; grandchildren, William Cody Webb, Morgan Paige Webb, and Major Hayes Hendricks; brothers, Jim Bryant and George Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cody Webb, Major Hendricks, Ross Bryant, Andy Bryant, Ronnie Bryan and Joe Hall.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Entergy Substation Breakfast Group.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
