Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of William A. “Bill” Collins, Jr., 64, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 14, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Laymond Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilhite Community Cemetery in Point, LA.

Bill was born on September 17, 1953, and passed away on April 9, 2018. Bill loved his God, family and friends. His joy in life was his precious grandchildren and all their adventures life provided. All that knew him knew that on a beautiful day he would be riding his bike. Bill is preceded in death by his father, William A. Collins, Sr.; brothers, Gary Alan Collins and Dan Henry Collins.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Karen McQueen Collins; dear mother, Alice Henry Collins; Son, William Cody Collins; precious grandchildren, Kinsley Grace Collins and Gabriel Allen Collins; sisters, Ginger Collins Barron and husband, Barry, Judy Collins Howell, Kay Collins Newman and husband, Neil, Susan Collins Simoneaux and husband, Wade and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bill’s nephews will serve as pallbearers, Adam Milford, Jamie Howell, Scooter Howell, Tim Howell, Ned Newman, Billy Newman, Gary Newman, Jake Newman, Chad Collins and Benji Collins.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday.
