Graveside service for Mrs. Willia Fletcher, 90, of Monroe LA, will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, October 28,2021 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe LA, under the direction od Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Nat Barnett officiating.
Mrs. Fletcher was born on September 13, 1931, in Memphis, TN and passed away on October 25, 2021in Monroe, LA. She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and a member of Mer Rouge Chapter #148, Order of the Eastern Star. Her iconic smiling face, hard work ethic, and willingness to help were familiar to the customers and employees of Fred’s, Emily’s Pharmacy and K&B Drugs.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Fletcher, and sisters Virginia Hill and Mary Jane Hosse. Survivors include her children, Ralph Fletcher Jr (Mary Ann) of Georgetown, TX and Bekki Hare (Greg) of Monroe; Grandchildren Benjamin Fletcher (Brittany) of Austin, TX; Kara Gregg (Austin) of Marion, LA; and Justin Hare of Groton, CT; and 2 great granddaughters, Keri Gregg and Adelaide Hare.
The family thanks the neighbors who looked after “Mrs. Fletcher” through the years, with special appreciation to Charlotte and Jimmy Jones for their friendship and loving care. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Jones.
Memorials may be made to St. Marks United Methodist Church, St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, or the Shriners Hospital.
