Memorial service for Mrs. Wendy Butler Reavis, 72, of Monroe, LA, will be held on 10:00 AM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at North Monroe Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Eckhardt and Rev. Johnny Funderburg officiating. Wendy passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on March 13, 2016, at her residence. She was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. She was employed at the Wellness Center in West Monroe.Survivors include her daughter, Nicole Gregory and husband Jonathan; son, Vincent Reavis of England; brother, Geoffrey Butler and wife Karen of England; grandchildren, Ashley Reavis Tinsley and husband Derek, Hunter Reavis, Beau Gregory and Lydia Gregory and many family members of North Monroe Baptist.Wendy was born and raised in England and charmed everyone in the Northeast Louisiana area with her accent. She was light and life to everyone who came in contact with her. Her main concern was the welfare of others and how they were doing. She was quick to thank anyone and everyone who cared for her family in any way. She always had a smile on her face and greeted everyone with affection and care. She lived modestly and gave generously to anyone who had need. She lived a life and set an example for how to be the best Christian, mom and nana anyone could ever be. She loved Jesus with all her heart. She was rarely seen without her daughter and best friend, Nicole, and her “munchkins” Beau & Lydia, by her side.
