Webb J. Crecink III

Memorial Service for Mr. Webb J. Crecink III, 70, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

He was born November 18, 1946 and passed away on November 5, 2017. He worked in sporting good sales as a factory rep. He served in the Army National Guard. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. For the past 15 years our dad was primary caregiver of our twin brothers with Downs syndrome. He loved helping others with special needs. He was one of the starting members of the Dixie Diehards Baseball Program for children with special needs. He was very devoted to this program. He took great pride in maintaining the baseball field. He is preceded in death by his wife of 22 years Myra Crecink and his parents, Webb J. Crecink, Jr. and Mary Jane Hoffman.

Survivors include his daughter Shona Hopfinger and husband, Daniel; three sons Webb J. Crecink IV, George A. Crecink and Gordon A. Crecink; two grandchildren Heather Harris and husband, Robert; Heath Hopfinger and wife, Laynie; 2 great grandchildren Thatcher and Beckett Hopfinger.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until service time on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
