Graveside services for Wayne Parker, 70 of Montevallo, AL will be at 11:30AM Monday, June 26, 2017 in the Harris Cemetery with Rev. Lyndall Stewart officiating. Burial will in the Harris Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Wayne was born in Crowville on February 11, 1947 and passed from this life on June 22, 2017 in Montevallo, AL.
He loved farming, driving tractors. He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He loved his family and church family at Montevallo First Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his parents-George Hardy and M. A. Stewart Parker; sisters-Ann Williams, Margo Pierce, Lee Keene, Geraldine Reynolds, Jeanetta Ingram, and Carolyn Hightower; brothers-Ban Earl and Hardy “Buddy” Parker.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years-Nancy Maxwell Parker of Montevallo, AL; two sons-Darrell Ramsey of Livermore, CA and Eric Wayne Parker of Alabaster, AL; two sisters-Dorothy Parker of Winnsboro and Sarah McQuillian of Brandon, MS; a brother-Carl Parker and wife Jean of Monroe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Ramsey , Eric Wayne Parker, Kevin Parker, Paul Pierce, J. T. Williams, and Jimmy McQuillian.
Visitation will be Monday, June 26 at the Mulhearn Funeral Home from 9:00 until 11:00AM.
