Wayne Lee Anderson, Sr.

Graveside services for Mr. Wayne Lee Anderson, Sr., 74, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday February 8, 2022, at Cross Roads Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Anderson died February 5, 2022 at Glenwood Hospital after a brief illness.
Wayne was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved spending time with his family. He was an avid Texas Ranger Baseball fan, enjoyed playing his guitar and wood working. He was retired from Golson Propane Gas Company.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Anderson; parents, Vernon Anderson and Ottie Westerburg, and his brothers, Chuck Anderson and Mitchell Westerburg.
Survivors: Daughter, BeLinda A. Kennedy and her husband, Jeff; Son, Andy Anderson and his wife, Megan; Grandchildren, Sydney Rodgers, Kyle Barefield, Wesley Gwin, and Jonah Kennedy; Great Granddaughter, Jenna Kay Jones; Brothers, Greg Anderson and his wife, Cherry Kay, and Irvin Anderson and wife, Jamie; special friend, Billy Golson, his beloved dog, Sadie; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Kyle Barefield, Wesley Gwin, Jonah Kennedy and his nephews, Brian Anderson, Jason Anderson, and Jerry Riley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shannon Pardue and Jonathan Pardue.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe, LA.
