Wayne Huff

Funeral service for Mr. Wayne Huff, 85, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Huff was born on June 5, 1936, in Harrisonburg, LA, and passed away on March 19, 2022, in Monroe. He was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Encouragers Life Group. Mr. Huff enjoyed fishing and hunting but loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sue Duck Huff; two daughters, Theresa McCoy (Mark) and Lori Fontenot (Greg); seven grandchildren, Kaitlin Graves (Collins Bove’), Olivia Green, Capt. Robert Fontenot (Ashley), Amanda Fontenot, Alexandra Balmer-Fontenot (Seth), Amelia Fontenot, and Aubrey Fontenot; sister, Patsy Johnson (Bobby); and sister-in-law, Earlene Huff.

Pallbearers will be Greg Fontenot, Mark McCoy, Robert Fontenot, Seth Balmer-Fontenot, Collins Bove’, and J. D. Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be the men from the Encourager’s Life Group and Chris “Taco” Howse.
