Funeral Services for Mrs. Wanda S. Matlock, 80, of Marion, LA, will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 22, 2019, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Dennis Hackler officiating. Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wanda was born on July 4, 1939, and passed away on December 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by husband, Marvin Matlock; parents, Shelby and Ella Batson Thompson; son, Stanley Matlock; daughter, Lorea Matlock; grandson, D. J. Corbin; granddaughter, Carla Waller; brother, Gene Thompson; sisters, Sandy Hayes and Shirley Carroll.

Survivors include son, Marvin Matlock (Terri); son, Marshall Matlock (Deb); daughter, Susan Matlock; son, Ricky Matlock (Reba); daughter, Leatha Fox (John); daughter, Rhonda Matlock; 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; brothers Bill Thompson (Landa) and Mike Thompson; sister, Geneva Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Allen Johnson, Larry Johnson, Chris Stanton, Caleb Temple, Will Grigson, and Jimmy Matlock.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
