Graveside services celebrating the life of Wanda Mae Bailey Chapman, 92, of Farmerville, Louisiana will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Holly Spring Cemetery in Willisville, Arkansas. A celebration of life will follow at “The Farm” after the service.
Mrs. Chapman was born on January 9, 1933, in Nevada County, Arkansas and passed away on January 23, 2025, in Farmerville, Louisiana.
Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She centered her life around her family. Before her retirement she was an accountant and a notary public. She was also a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovell Loran Chapman; parents, James Robert and Malonie Bailey; brothers, James Ivie Bailey, Collis Malone Bailey, Ellis Bailey, Lawrence Bailey, and Joe David Bailey; sister, Helen Faye Bailey Pamplin; and grandson, Benjamin Earl Gunther.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Nora Spence and Phyllis Malone and her husband, Greg; grandchildren, Amy Hicks and her husband, Jack, Daniel Gunther, and Taylor Malone and his wife, Sierra; great grandchildren, Blade Hicks and his wife, Kelsey and Audra Reese Malone; great great granddaughter, Anastasia Margo-Mae Hicks; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church of Farmerville, Louisiana.
