Vivian Ruth Hopkins

Graveside Services for Vivian Ruth Owens Hopkins, 96, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the Hasley Cemetery Pavilion in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Ryan Copeland officiating.

Mrs. Hopkins was born on January 4, 1927, in Union Church, MS and passed away on March 23, 2023, in West Monroe, LA.

She was an avid reader and card player. She was a dedicated member of Ridge Avenue Baptist Church who taught Sunday School and was on the building committee. She was also a loving Nana and was loved dearly by her family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Onie Murle Hopkins; first husband, Jesse Frank Owens, Sr.; and stepson, Ronald Hopkins.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Humphries and husband Bryce; son, Jesse Frank, Jr. and wife Margarett; stepson, A.W. Hopkins and wife Karen; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Austin Audirsch, Chris Audirsch, Shane Ballance, Gavin Copeland, Marcus Copeland, and George Owens.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
