Virginia Moore

On December 29, 2021 Virginia Moore, 81 of Rayville, La passed from her earthly home surrounded by her husband and children.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William T. “Bubba” Moore of Rayville; children, Ginger Guice (Brad), of Winnsboro, LA., Debra Brunson (Perry) of Mangham, LA., Tommy Moore (Tammy) of Start, LA., and Dewanna Ward (Garry) of Crowville, LA., Grandchildren: Jesse McKay, Haley McKay, Alarie Warren (Caleb), Drew Guice (Camille), Lauren Guice, Megan Forsee (Dustin), Ryan Moore, Wesleigh Skinner, and Jamie Skinner, Great-grandchildren: Miles Warren, Lee Warren, Ben Warren, Sutton Forsee, Sawyer Forsee, and Eleonora Guice.

Virginia was a member of Start Baptist Church. She began her banking career at Franklin State Bank in Winnsboro, and retired from Richland State Bank in Rayville, LA. She loved traveling with her husband and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her parents Hardy and Francis Wiggins; brothers, Delton Wiggins and Larry Wiggins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 1, 2022 at 2 PM at Start Baptist Church with a visitation from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Start Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.

Pallbearers will be Delbert Crow, Bud Gould, Jesse McKay, Ryan Moore, Drew Guice, Caleb Warren, and Dustin Forsse.
