Funeral service for Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Comrato, 99, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday March 29, 2022, Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Monroe, LA, with Father James Dominic officiating. Interment will follow in St Matthews Cemetery in Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.

Miss. Comrato was born November 2, 1923, in Monroe, LA, and passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Delta Grand Nursing Home in Monroe, LA. She was a charter member of ST. Joseph Catholic Church and altar society. She loved to sing and cook for her family.

Miss Comrato was preceded in death by her parents, Charles, and Mary Inzina Comrato; siblings, Louis Comrato, Phillip Comrato, Annie Graham, Josephine Comrato, Lottie Anzalone, Frances Fisher, JoAnna Comrato, Marie Comrato; niece, Mary Margaret Dorris; and nephew, Chip Dorris.

Survivors include her Niece Margaret Anzalone; Great Nieces; Gail Boyd, Kathy Stewart, Lisa Wassack, Donna Ferlicca, Laura Anazalone. Numerous great great nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers will be Robert “Bob” Wilson, Frank Anzalone Jr., Lanny Stewart, James Ramsey, Nash Norris, Mark Norris, and Ronnie Boyd.
