Violet Decuir Butler

Funeral Services for Violet Decuir Butler, 96, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Fr. Frank Coens officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paschal’s Catholic Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Butler was born January 21, 1920 and passed away September 4, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George “Pete” Butler.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Paschal’s Catholic Church.
Mrs. Butler’s family would like to give special thanks to her sitter, Vicki Maples and to Louisiana Hospice.
