Viola Scott

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Viola “Vi” Stamper Scott, 85, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Ed Dickerson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.

Mrs. Scott was born on June 1, 1937 and passed away on October 30, 2022.  Vi loved serving the Lord and also working and keeping up her and Red’s place in Calhoun.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbridge and Edna Stamper; sister, Melba Randall; brother, Virgil Stamper; and brother-in-law, Jerry Lee.

Survivors include her husband, Albert L. “Red” Scott; son, Kenneth L. Scott and wife, Laurie; grandchildren, Kenneth L. “Bo” Scott and wife, Shelly, Michael Scott and Katherine Scott; great grandchildren, Kennedy Ann and Joel Anthony Scott; brothers and sisters, James Stamper and wife, Faye, Irma Dark and husband, Lanny, Peggy Lee, Stella Dickerson and husband, Ed, Rhonda Hansen and husband, Val, Ronnie Stamper and wife, Melissa; brother-in-law, George Randall, Jr. “Jr”; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

 Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
