Funeral service for Mrs. Vickie E. Guiterrez, 76, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00AM Friday, September 4, 2020, at Rowland Road Baptist Church with Rev. John Yates and Rev. Norman Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
Mrs. Guiterrez was born on June 3, 1944 and passed away on August 30, 2020. She was a member of Rowland Road Baptist Church and loved serving in the Ministry to the Community. In the Ministry to the Community she loved to cook for first responders, teachers, police, and firefighters just to name a few. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and she loved taking care of her family. Mrs. Guiterrez was preceded in death by her parents, Bynum and Jennie Davis; siblings, Rita Prophit, Buddy Davis, Estelle Marie Davis and Baby Angel Davis.
Survivors include her husband of 31years, Jessie Guiterrez; children, Thomas Ray Davis, Jennifer Lea Blakley, Lisa Rene Blakley, Margo Guiterrez, and Michael Guiterrez and wife Abby; sister, Shirley Yates and husband Duke; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Gil Guiterrez, Chuck Bradberry, Patrick Dispenza and Vince Dispenza, Jeremy Moore, Tony Guiterrez and Jay Yates.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Rowland Road Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to Rowland Road Baptist Church for the Ministry to the Community, 336 Rowland Rd. Monroe, LA.
