Vicki Cockerham (Lindsey) Keene

Vicki Cockerham (Lindsey) Keene, age 72, of Monroe, formerly of Jena, Louisiana, passed away April 25, 2023, at her residence in Monroe. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 2:00 P.M., at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 2308 Sterlington Road (Hwy. 165), Monroe, Louisiana, with Reverend Johnnie Phillips officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.  

Vicki was born December 12, 1950, to A. G. Cockerham and Martha Payer Cockerham. She graduated from Jena High School and went on to graduate from Northwestern State University in nursing, being a Registered Nurse (RN) in her working career before retiring. If you were ever around her during Saints or LSU games, you know she was a diehard fan and was always yelling and cheering. Vicki was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and great friend to many. She always put others’ needs above her own and would help anyone who asked.

She is preceded in death by her parents, A. G. and Martha Payer Cockerham, and Bobby Lindsey, father of her children.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Samuel Lindsey (Carley) of Sterlington, and Scott Lindsey (Holly) of Pineville, Louisiana; grandchildren, Peyton Lindsey, Hannah Lindsey, Ashton Lindsey, Beau Lindsey, Peyton Evans, Tobi Konnaris(Christos), Aiden Ordner; great grandchildren, Ryleigh Lindsey, and Kali Konnaris; and sister, Tammy Davis (Michael), along with many other relatives.  

Honorary pallbearers will be Ashton Lindsey, Beau Lindsey, Peyton Evans, Aiden Ordner, and Christos Konnaris.
