Funeral Services for Mr. Vickey Joe Wisecarver, 64, of Sterlington, LA, will be 12:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Paron Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Coker officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Wisecarver was born December 2, 1956 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 10, 2021. He attended Paron Baptist Church. Mr. Wisecarver enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching LSU football. He was a dedicated member of the Flying Zero pit crew. Mr. Wisecarver was an avid softball fan. He enjoyed watching his daughters play sports. Mr. Wisecarver loved visiting with his girls but most of all his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis Joe Wisecarver and Martel Wisecarver.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Wisecarver; five daughters, Rev. Sandy Wisecarver, Jennifer Wisecarver, Wendy Wisecarver, Julieanne Wisecarver, and Rachel Wisecarver; three step-children, Lillie Christina Gibson, Melissa Fulgham, and J.T. Nason; ten grandchildren, George, Jack, Joel, Jude, Jordan, Sarah Brinkley, Sophie Allen, Lawson, Rex and Gray; brother, Billy Keith Wisecarver (Ann); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many special friends; as well as his beloved dogs, Bella, Josie “Chunk”, and Watson.
Pallbearers will be Rick Bowen, Eddie Jones, Mike Jones, Ronnie Jones, Richard Moore, and Eric Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Landon Ashley and J.T. Nason.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
