Vera Lambert Boyer

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Vera Lambert Boyer, 85, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at New Light Baptist Church Monroe, LA with Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the New Light Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Vera was born on June 25, 1934 and peacefully passed away from this life at her home on August 11, 2019. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Boyer enjoyed bingo and shopping, but loved spending time with her family and friends. Vera worked as a waitress for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clinton Hammack and Mary Templeton; and by her sons, David Lambert, Carl Boyer, and Jerry Lamar Boyer.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Mary Thompson and husband, Roland, Martha Lambert, Kathy Smith and husband, Willis, John Lambert and wife, Rosemary, Tommy Lambert, Robert Boyer and girlfriend, Gregory, and Randy Boyer and wife, Cindy; along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dalton Wyrick, Willis Smith, James Clark, J.D. Clark, Richard Suplizio, and Tommy Lambert Jr. Honorary Pallbearer will be Matthew Rowell.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Lung Association.

The family would like to express a special thank you and appreciation to Aimee Hospice and their staff for the love and care that was given to Mrs. Boyer.
