She was born July 10, 1928 in OakRidge, LA to Joseph Franklin Colson and Docia Isabelle Nolan Colson.Una was an elementary school teacher for 40 years, a member and a former state president of Kappa Gamma Society International.She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband-Charles R. Shelton and eleven siblings.Una is survived by one son-John Shelton of Sherwood, AK; one daughter-Margaret Kelly and husband Bob of Rogers, AK; and two grandchildren-Caitlin Kelly of Atlanta, GA and James C. Kelly of Champaign, IL.Memorials may be made in honor of Una to Circle of Life or the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Home in Rogers with the Rev.
