Private Family Graveside Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. Troy Rex Milan Carter, 80, of Arcadia, LA formerly of West Monroe, LA will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Indian Village Cemetery in Calhoun, LA with Dr. Greg Clark officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Carter was born on February 15, 1940 and passed away on January 21, 2021 in Arcadia, LA. Mr. Carter started his career working in the papermill and then for a finance company and ended in career building swimming pools. He graduated from Ouachita High School, where he played Quarterback, and was given a scholarship to Oklahoma State University where he stayed 1 year and then returned back to NLU. He was a member of the National Guard from 1961-1969. Mr. Carter coached High School Recreational Baseball and played fastpitch softball tournaments for several years. He loved watching football (local High School games, LSU, and the Saints). Mr. Carter is preceded in death by his parents, Emma Adams and William A. Carter, brothers, Marvin, Doug, Bill and Pressley Carter.

Those left behind to cherish his memories are is ex-wife, Charlotte Carter Lee; daughter, Terri Kay Carter Garlington and husband, Doug; three grandchildren, Grant, Ethan, and Cody and his wife, Lydia; and his great granddaughter, Maliah.

Memorials may be made to the Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.
