Funeral Services for Mr. Travis Ray, 88, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Gordon “Skip” Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Ray was born March 19, 1922 in Farmerville, LA and passed away May 30, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Loraine Ray; son, Tony Ray and wife, Paula; daughters, Donna Ray and Shari Ray; grandchildren, Brian Ray and wife, Brandi, Andrew Ray, Tyler Pilcher, and Kaylee Pilcher; sisters, Norma Mathieu and Pat Leehy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian Ray, Andrew Ray, Tyler Pilcher, Johnny Sutton, Dennis Leehy, and Vernon Ray.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday June 1, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Ron Hammett and his staff for the care of Mr. Travis Ray.
