Tonya Renee Wyrick

Funeral Services for Mrs. Tonya Renee Wyrick, 50, of Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Brother Mark Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Reeks Family Cemetery in Pioneer, LA.

Tonya was born September 1, 1972 and passed away on December 1, 2022. She was a 1992 graduate of Ouachita Parish High School. Tonya was employed with the Ouachita Parish School System for over 15 years. She enjoyed her animals, especially her cats, going to the library, social media, paint by numbers, and most of all spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Moore; mother, Betty Garner; daughter, Nicole Diane Wyrick; maternal grandparents, Rose Violet Garner and Lee Russell Garner; aunt and uncle, Brenda and Bob Boykin; and uncle, Lloyd Parker.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Jimmy Ray Wyrick; daughter, Lizabeth “Lizzy” Wyrick and Lizzy’s companion, Garrett Watzek; father and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Louise Wyrick; brother-in-law, Jody Wyrick; “brother and sister” Richard and Kim Wynn; “nephew” Matthew Wynn; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Mike Roach, Jamie Cotton, Jonathan Crowe, Keith Barfoot, Randy Loveless, Bruce Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dylan Pittman, Joel Harris, and Clay Tippen.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PAWS of Northeast Louisiana, or the Ouachita Parish Public Library.
