Toni Ann Hubka Coble, 79, died on January 20, 2021 at home in Monroe, Louisiana, surrounded by family, following a 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Toni was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but moved to the Monroe area in her youth. She graduated from Neville High School and then attended college in Florida to become an electrical designer. She lived several years in Houston, Texas where she met the love of her life, Jack and started a family. She and her family moved back to the Monroe area in 1978 where they were active in their church (Trinity Lutheran) and loyal boosters of the ULM Athletic Foundation for many years. Later in life she attended NLU and LSU, earning her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work and eventually becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Helping people was her passion, not only in her vocation, but also in her church activities and personal life. She will always be remembered for her kind, friendly, outgoing nature, strong Christian faith, and unwavering love for her family.
Toni was preceded in death by her husband Jack Coble, and parents Vencel and Ann Louise Hubka.
She is survived by her children Jeffrey Coble (wife Sarah Miller) of Clover, South Carolina and Todd Coble (wife Sarah White) of West Monroe; grandchildren Aaron Coble, Simon Coble, Danielle Coble, and Ethan Coble.
The Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1301 Oliver Rd, Monroe on Tuesday, January 26 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be prior to the service at 9:30 AM. Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery on HWY 80 in Monroe.
Pallbearers are Robert McCorvey, David Cotton, Jay Lewis, George Schaeffer, Jr., Alex Robinson, and Frank Bordelon. Honorary pallbearers are Gordon Meseke, Skip Fife, and Fred Coon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Monroe.
