Memorial services for Timothy Wayne Whitney, 47, of Monroe, will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday October 2, 2011, at Northminster Church with Dr. Welton Gaddy officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mr. Whitney passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a member of Northminster Church and was a registered nurse at St. Francis Medical Center for 17 years. He loved gardening, flowers, and was a gourmet cook.
Survivors include his parents, Bobby and Shirley Whitney of Winnsboro; sisters, Vickie Givens and husband Dale of Crossett, AR, and Kathy Mitchell and husband Brian of Winnsboro; special partner of 10 years, Stephen Davidson of Monroe; four nieces and nephews, and four great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until service time Sunday at Northminster Church.
