Timothy Knight

Funeral services for Mr. Timothy Knight, 74, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday April 28, 2017, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA with Rev. Terry Mims and Rev. Tom McCurley officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Knight died April 24, 2017, after a deer stand accident.

Tim was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Monroe, LA. He retired as Produce Manager with Safeway Grocery Store. He was an avid bowler. He loved spending time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing, with his family and friends. Tim was a mentor, a hero, and an amazing father to his sons. He was a friend to many. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Dorothy Iola Knight.

Survivors: his sons, Keith Knight, and Paul Knight and his wife, Lanette; Brother, Terry Knight and his wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Amber, Beth Ann, Silas, and Sarah.

The family requests in lieu of flowers please donate in memory to Emmanuel Baptist Church at 413 Breard St in Monroe, LA.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Vallery, Mike Nappier, Freddie Browder, Charles Dean, Chuck Mock, and O.C. Watson.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
