Thomas Moore 'Tommy' Ross, Jr.Funeral services for Thomas Moore Ross, Jr., 75, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 22, 2014, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Richard Norsworthy officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park of Cemetery.Mr. Ross died Friday, September 19, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a United States Navy Veteran. Mr. Ross was a member of Am-Vets, Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, and a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. He was also a lifelong fisherman.Mr. Ross was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Machnik Ross; father, Thomas M. Ross, Sr.; mother, Dorothy M. Ross; and sister, Roberta Ann Ross Johnson.Survivors include his sons, Chris Ross, Mike Ross and wife Kathy, Gerald Ross and wife Dawn, Danny Ross and Cathy, Murray Ross and wife Charla, and Doug Ross and wife Theresa; daughter, Suzie Whittington; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; sister, Veronica Ross Howard and husband Harold; brothers, John Ross and wife Deborah, Randy Ross; sister-in-law, Diane Wagley and husband Ken; brother-in-law, Jimmy Machnik and wife Melanie; longtime friend, Mike Sandlin and wife Haydee; and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be his sons and brother-in-law, Jimmy Machnik.Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Vigil Wake at 6:00 PM Sunday, September 21, 2014, at the funeral home.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.comMulhearn Funeral HomeSterlington RoadMonroe, LA
