Funeral Services for Thomas O. Murray, 57, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Shane Warren and Rev. David Murrell officiating. Interment will follow at Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Thomas Murray was born August 5, 1955 and passed away March 28, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He worked for 15 years at the Louisiana Department of Transportation before retiring due to his illness. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; Orrin and Grace Murray; and wife, Catherine Frances Fargala Murray.
He is survived by his long time friend and companion, Myrna K. Lockwood; daughter, Alicia Lockwood; special grandson, Tristin Thomas; son, Donald Pickel and family; his DOTD family; many friends and beloved pets.
Pallbearers will be Ron Wilkerson, Walter Stapleton, Chris Coats, Jack Fuller, Eric Heath, and Bobby Lazos. Honorary Pallbearers will be his DOTD co-workers.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Monday, April 1, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
