Thomas Jefferson White

Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson White, 92, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA, with Bro. Bill Bearden officiating. Visitation is 12:00 PM until service time, Friday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. White was born on January 21, 1926, and passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, Veaston and Bertha White; and two brothers, Dewey White and Robert White.

Mr. White is survived by his wife, Helen Steiner White; two sisters, Myrtle McCowin and Gladys Roberts; one brother, Larry White; three children, Karel White, Roger White (Dot), and Linda Waller(Hal); five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas was retired from the United States Army and Swanson Correctional Facility where he was a vocational teacher.
