Graveside services for Thomas Eugene Brady, 79, will be held at the Mulhearn Memorial Cemetery on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 10:00AM with Rev Jerry Hebert officiating.

Eugene was born December 18, 1928 in Warren, Arkansas, the son of the late Ulysses and Julia Brady, and passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at St. Francis Specialty Hospital. He had been a resident at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans’ Home for the past eight months.

Eugene retired as a 55 year member of the Local 659 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. In addition he served his country in the US Air Force, participating in the Berlin Airlift and obtaining the rank of Sergeant. During his lifetime he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Dorothy Marie Brady, his grandson Thomas Eugene Supan, brother James Patrick Brady, and sisters Winnie G. Graham and Norma Jean Brady.

Survivors include daughter Veronica Brady Supan and her husband Paul of Steelton, Pennsylvania; two sisters Elizabeth Rankin and Mary Sue Barkley and her husband Clyde of West Monroe; one grandson Paul B. Supan IV of Harrisburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Danny Collins, Jory Barkley, James Dyer, Clyde Barkley, Ben Hobson, and Paul Supan.

The family will receive friends at Mulhearn Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 31, 2008.
