Thomas Dewey Seale

Funeral services for Thomas Dewey Seale, 92, are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Reverend Danny Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mr. Seale was proud of his military service. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II in the Central Pacific.

While he was a salesman most of his life, he enjoyed most leading worship music in small churches, singing in the choir, and teaching Sunday School. He served as an ordained deacon at First Baptist Church for many years.

Mr. Seale is survived by his wife of 70 years, Eloise Crow Seale; daughter, Margaret Seale Chapman and husband Danny of Kingwood, Texas, and son, Richard D. Seale and wife Gail of West Monroe, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jonathan Chapman and wife April, Laura Futrell and husband Carlton, David Seale and wife Misty, Kerrie Tilton and husband Jacob, Andy Chapman and wife Holley, and Michael Seale and wife KayLeigh; great grandchildren Ryan, Leah, and Bailey Chapman; Meg, Beth, Ethan, and Sam Futrell; Emma, Eli, and AnnaliseTilton; Max and Charlotte Chapman, Luke and Reagan Seale, and Liam and Mileigh Seale; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Larkin Seale; mother, Alma Courtney Seale Smith; one brother, Woody Seale, and two sisters, Opal Seale and Callie Futch.
