Theresa Marie Ross

Funeral service for Mrs. Theresa Marie Ross, 60, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at North Monroe Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Hackler officiating. Interment will follow in the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 2308 Sterlington Rd. Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 4:00PM Monday until 6:30PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 2308 Sterlington Rd. Monroe, Louisiana.

Theresa was born on June 19, 1963, in Ada, Ohio and passed away October 6, 2023, in Monroe, Louisiana. After high school she went on to graduate from nursing school at Bowling Green University. She then embarked on a twenty-one-year Naval career where she retired as a Commander. Upon her retirement, she completed the Troops to Teachers program which kickstarted a twelve-year journey as a teacher where she touched many lives and was awarded Parish Teacher of the year, but her greatest accomplishment was her three amazing daughters, that she and her husband raised together. She was a proud mom and wouldn’t hesitate to brag about them. She was incredibly encouraging, selfless, and vibrant, impacting countless lives during her 60 years. She will be missed more than words can describe and all who she left behind are better because of her.

Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Kipker.

Survivors include her husband, Doug Ross; three daughters, Miranda Ross, Taylor Ross, and Allie Ross; father, Louis Kipker; sister, Georgia “Gigi” Wayson (Wayne); brother, Robert Kipker (Jen); aunt, Margie Dimond; brothers-in-law, Chris Ross, Mike Ross (Kathy), Jerry Ross (Dawn), Danny Ross (Anna), and Murray Ross (Charla); sister-in-law, Suzie Kindrix (Kevin); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chris Ross, Mike Ross, Murray Ross, Danny Ross, Jerry Ross, and Robert Kipker.
