Thelma Ruth Green

Funeral services for Thelma Ruth Green, 86, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Green went to Heaven on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at CHRISTUS St. Joseph Assisted Living in Monroe. 
Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents, R.C. and Bessie Mathias McIlwain. 
Survivors include her husband, Hugh L. Green of Monroe, LA; son, Randy Green and wife Ginger of Mandeville, LA; daughters, Jeanine Hicks and husband John of West Monroe, LA, and Donna Calhoun and husband Kevin of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Kelsey Green Trimble and husband Kevin, Kirk Daniel Green and wife Liz, Amber Hicks Hennigan and husband Greg, Lee Hunter Hicks and wife Carol Ann, Hope Calhoun Hawthorne and husband Daniel, Anneliese Calhoun Kelley and husband Roger; and eight great grandchildren. 
Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Trimble, Daniel Green, Lee Hicks, Bob McIlwain, Ronnie McIlwain, Kevin Calhoun, Randy Green and John Hicks. 
Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until service time, Saturday at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
