Funeral services for Terry Wayne Halbrooks, 62, of Start, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Start Baptist Church, Start, LA, with Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA.
Mr. Halbrooks was born March 24, 1956, in Blytheville, AR, to Thomas and Mildred Halbrooks and passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 2, 2018. He was retired after proudly serving in the United States Army and Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Department.
Survivors include his former wife and friend of 27 years Margaret Newcomb Halbrooks; children, Amanda and Crystal (Michael) Hobbs; grandchildren, Melodie (Everritt), Tiffany, Adam, and Lillian; siblings, Robert (Kathy), Theresa, and Peter; and several nieces and nephews.
